Materials
Boxwood leaves with brass hinges and end caps, one metre in four folds, graduated in millimetres on one edge and in inches on the other.
Care
Keep it out of standing water and do not force a stiff hinge — a drop of light oil at the pivot frees it. The printed graduations wear before the wood does, so read from the brass end you use least.
